Hello to red hat/cent OS/fedora users,
I am currently using cent OS 5.5 for my server. Should I switch over to fedora so I can get a screen reader?
A friend of mine told me that the yum repositories on fedora are more active and I can get a screen reader. I am totally blind and can't see the screen, so I use SSH to access my server. The only problem is I can't see the output as the machine boots which is something i'd like to do.
I was told the fedora ISO to download needed to be modified, and I had to get the one at here

I use my server for my MOO, teamtalk and PBX.
i use cent for ssh if you are running it at your house then it may be a good idea but if you are not then it doesn't mater you can always look at your boot logs to see what if anything is going on
the server is used for:
PBX(asterisk, freepbx, dahdi, libpri, ztdummy)
teamtalk server
MOO server
current distro:cent OS
kernel version:2.6.18
GCC 4.1
dear god, .18?
I really really highly recommend debian or arch. I just run my servers (I have three of them) off both Debian or arch, depending. It works well enough, just make sure you lock down ssh and that.

I am switching to fedora.
